He is def. a good ball player. Everyone is saying hes top 3 based on what he did to Ashland the first round. If he had not done that alot of people wouldn't even have him in their top 10 which he is very worthy of.

Not just to Ashland, but to every team Elliot faced. He obviously had a good enough tournament to be named MVP. But I do agree with you on the fact that if he hadn't had a good postseason than he wouldn't be nearly as high as he is.

Mark Maynard did a preseason Top 10 now lets rank the postseason Top 10.

Players personally have told me Ferguson is unbelievable, probably the BEST player in the region after Owens of course. Ferguson had an impressive game against Greenup who probably had the best defense in the Region.

 

Last 4 teams in the Regional Tournament was Russell, Fairview, Greenup, and Elliott. Greenup and Fairview players are not getting no love to get that far.

Its a repeat topic. 16th Top 5 Players. 16th Region Preseason Best Player. Who will be POY in 16th Region? Best Player in 16th Region? Next Year 16th Region TOP 5 Teams? Who will be the team to beat in the 16th Region?

I don't understand this, Stripes. If the content of a thread brings you discomfort, it shouldn't be too hard to simply select another thread to read and participate in.

 

This board was constructed (by Guru) for the sole purpose of giving people of the Commonwealth a place to gather and talk about high school sports. I have no idea why you take such umbrage at seeing people from the eastern end of the state start threads to discuss the players from that area, but it obviously causes you great discomfort.

 

If you hit your thumb with a hammer, and you find it not to your liking, try not to do it again. In this case, it appears that you actually enjoy picking up the hammer.

Ferguson has a bright future but to say that he is better than Vanhoose, McDavid or McCown is just not true. He may end up better by the time he is a senior, but thats just not the case right now.

You knowwhat is sad Stripes3? You . Everytime someone starts a thread about the 16th region you always have a snide comment. These posters pay their money to post comments about their teams,coaches, and players. Now just because you dont agree you say its a joke. Now my take on you is with your screen name you are probably an official. If you are you really need to step back and take a look at yourself. This forum is about high school basketball and people are free to post what they want about who they want. If people posting stuff about the 16th region all the time offends you, then start your own threads about another region. This is really the off season of high school hoops and not alot gets posted about basketball from other regions. I like reading what the 16th posters have to say and everytime you have something NEGATIVE to say. Just because other posters dont post about their regions doesnt mean posters in the 16th should stop posting.
