February 3, 201511 yr The Pats were clearly the best team in the AFC so what does the future hold for them? How will the Pats be in 2015? What is their FA situation? Retirements? Finally, if you were in charge of the Pats, what area(s) would you improve on for 2015? And this thread is meant more for fans of other AFC teams, it certainly isn't a slight, the Pats are deserving world champs.
February 3, 201511 yr First order of business is trying to figure out how to handle Revis. Got the team option at $20M, which they'll almost certainly decline. Will they be able to sign him to a multi-year deal? Will he look to go elsewhere? Next in line is McCourtey. I think they have to bring one of the two back. After that, I imagine they'll make a play at Larry Fitzgerald or Andre Johnson. They'll build everything else through the draft and look forward to guys like Mayo and Hightower being healthy next season.
February 3, 201511 yr Author So you think the Pats think they need an upgrade at WR? And I would take Larry if I am picking between those two.
February 3, 201511 yr So you think the Pats think they need an upgrade at WR? And I would take Larry if I am picking between those two. Yes. They need a down-field threat IMO. They haven't had once since Moss.
February 3, 201511 yr Author The scary part is the Pats could be better in 2015. Do you have their home and away opponents UK?
February 3, 201511 yr Revis is priority number 1. Following closely is OL. At the beginning of the year, and then near the end, the OL struggled. I thought Baltimore won the LOS in the playoff game, and Seattle again in the SB. I would like to see the PATs improve the OL so they can run more consistently. 50 pass attempts is too much. As Brady's career winds down, the PATS need to be able to run the ball more and depend on Brady less. Lafell is a significant downfield threat. Pass protection needs to improve. Improve the OL and you we will see.

February 3, 201511 yr I can't see any worse than 12-4 with that schedule. Which means, another AFC East title and a very good shot at another season of home-field advantage.

Obviously with Gronk, Edelman, and Vereen the Patriots don't really have much need for the traditional slot WR. Would love to see what would happen (now that they have a defense) if they tried to structure a "normal" offense.

February 4, 201511 yr 2015 Home Opponents Bills Dolphins Jets Jaguars Titans Eagles Redskins Steelers 2015 Road Opponents Bills Dolphins Jets Colts Texans Cowboys Giants Broncos Man, that home schedule is pretty weak. Barring major injuries I cannot see them losing a home game next year...although it is the NFL so you never know.
