Who wins and why?

I added a poll for you.

I'll take the Rebels in this one. Colton is getting healthier by the day and Hagen and Jeremiah may end up being too much for West Jessamine.

I am looking forward to watching Isaiah Okesson play. He's a sophomore for West Jessamine who gets some varsity clock. West has a strong sophomore class and he is one of the ones that I enjoyed watching. Bradley Tullar is another sophomore who looks to have a promising career at West Jessamine.

Think it all depends on if West can get Elkins in foul trouble. They've got to get to the rim to be successful, most of their shots at the rim are through contact. If Elkins stays out of foul trouble, I see him with at least six blocks, potentially double-figures.

I will say that West matches up pretty well defensively. Bell and Tyler will get theirs, but they should give Boyle a run.

I'm thinking Boyle wins by 9.

Okesson is a sharpshooter. Doesn't need any warm up, when he's in the game, he's going to shoot a three.

Tullar is the prototypical West player: Lanky, does everything well, nothing spectacular. Neither get many minutes against bigger teams (ie, Boyle) so I don't think you'll see more than 10 minutes from either.

If Boyle can keep playing the way they did Friday then I will go with Boyle by double digits.
