I would have thought with Waldrop fouling out on the Technical at the 6:00 mark of the 4th, Murray was done......but they responded in a big way.

 

Congrats to Murray on a nice victory, and to Gallatin Co. on a strong effort.

New to Bluegrasspreps so cut me a little slack early but I have followed it quite about over the past few years so I thought I would add my 2 cents every once in a while. Well here is one of them, keep in mind that last year I think and I could be wrong that 3 or 4 teams who played in the ALL A last year actually made it to the state tournament. So with that being said it can't be all that bad.

Great effort by GC today. The difference in this game was Murray's superior depth. Should be a good one tomorrow in the finals.

Let's keep this thread on track. It's about the game, not about the value of the All "A" Tournament.

You are correct. But without going into detail, (because they've all hear it!) that is the majority of my point against this tournament. One of the biggest arguments from the advocates is that this tournament is for the small schools...that couldn't compete otherwise. I call them out on that because every year, the majority of the teams that play in this level of this tournament are highly competitive in the regular regional events. In fact, I think it was last year the half of the teams in this state event made it to their regular regional finals and half of them won their region. I'm not saying it's not good basketball by any means. For the rest of you...I'm done! Just answering the persons question!!!

Waving off an official... If the tech isn't called there is usually a stern talking to. I'm sure she had already done something early to make Sandlin go to the technical foul.
