Nobody here has said 'it's all hard work and scheduling', I even made the point that strength of schedule doesn't even crack the top five factors. Yet, it does make a difference, which everyone has provided ample proof of. You continue to act like it's a non-factor without refuting anything. Trinity played a stronger schedule than Male, Male edged them out in talent but Trinity came back to beat them. If schedule is a non-factor then provide an alternate explanation.

I Refuted it plenty of times yet it has been ignored. I will end it this way. 2013 Scott Co. No national schedule. Not even close to the SOS trinity had yet they won it all.

 

Sure playing a tough schedule can help if you have a team that can compete against tougher competition. It doesn't however garuntee anything. Teams can and have won it all without the SOS that would rank among the states best schedules. Having the players and coaches is what matters.

Your players and coaches are both more important that strength of schedule, (I would put them as factors 1 and 2 respectively in that top five I keep mentioning) but just because something is more important doesn't the other factor not important. Strength of schedule is a factor.

 

I fail to see how you have refuted anything. My example with Male and Trinity this year has not been addressed since I showed that Trinity played a stronger schedule than them. And what about the point made about Dixie Heights? Playing a harder schedule would have forced them to develop a passing game instead of relying on the run.

They played hard and played well in a year that saw pretty much all the Louisville teams on a downturn. There schedule wasn't that strong, but it didn't need to be that year; they were good enough to win without the edge that a harder schedule gives.
