Raiders expected to hire Jack Del Rio today

This hiring shows that if Marvin or the Bengals ever part ways that Marvin will get another chance again too.

Agreed. Marvin would be hired immediately by some other team if he left the Bengals.

I am interested in seeing how this one goes and think it could be a winner for Oakland.

I would be. Look at his record in JAX and then look at it since he left. That dude could coach, and did a nice job in a tough spot in NE Florida.

I think he'll do well with Oakland...especially if Carr is serviceable moving forward.

He did have some nice talent with the Jags. All about Jimmys and Joe's.

MJD was the leading rusher in the NFL his 2nd to last season. It was Gabbert that did him and every other Jags fan in.

Carr is promising so that's a positive along with Murray. Their front office will make or break him and history leans toward the latter.

Serious question, the Bronco's fired him as a DC, right? Now the Raiders want him as a head coach? Did they legalize weed in Oakland?
