Johnson Central's Kyle Gullett became the 24th Member of the 1,000 point club at Johnson Central High School as the Golden Eagles defeated Louisville Shawnee 77-62. In the game Gullett had 28 points (8/12 from the field, 4/5 from the arc, 8/9 from the FT line) 3 blocks, 1 ast, 1 stl. At 6'7'' with a 33 on his ACT (number 1 in his class), its hard to believe Gullett is not getting very many looks from the college level (especially since he will be on academic scholarship, plays well above the rim, and can shoot from anywhere). Nonetheless, Congratulations on a wonderful accomplishment!

I wondered the same thing myself. In Johnson County, that puts him relatively close to Greenup County...."Don Gullett country".
