Holmes 63 St Henry 59

Featured Replies

All this talk about Holmes and no credit for St Henry.

I thought Paul Wallenhorst played very well for the Cru. His length was a factor down low.

Kunstek was active at both ends and his strength shown on the boards. He goes to the rim so hard and has nice post moves. Would've liked to see him show his mid range game but St Henry was smart and attacked the rim all night which led to a lot of easy baskets down low.

Alex Green also played well, penetrating and creating open shots around the rim for his team.

Goetz plays a very smart game and is so fundamentally sound. He handled Holmes pressure pretty well.

Freshman Commodore and sophomore Jaiden Greene (#11) are both going to be really good and have seen regular varsity minutes so far. Greene is very active on the boards and is pretty strong for his age. Tries to tear the rim off any time he goes to the rim.

Daniels is a junior. Quick and active hands.

Englemon is a pretty good shooter but will need to get better defensively to see regular varsity minutes. He played the first half against ST H but didn't play the 2nd half with McClendon staying out of foul trouble.

I think the other big kid you're talking about is #22, a sophomore, Xavian Bolden...Beetle's cousin. Good size at 6'4 and all he wants to do is rebound and defend. Chris Englemon mentality. They have another Englemon, Mike Englemon.

Englemon's at Holmes are like Pangallo's at NewCath
