What schools are looking for new coach? What jobs have open up yet???

Fulton County in the 1st Region.

Fulton County could be an All A Classic contender next year with the right coach, but he's going to have some attitudes to deal with.

Word is Hopkinsville is open, but it could get messy.

Terry Hayes (Hopkinsville) met with the Principal and Athletic Director last week. He was informed that he would not be brought back to coach the basketball team. The team was also informed they would have a new coach next season.

Right now you got a lot of speculation on everybody's part but this isn't all about wins and losses and it's not all about the promoting of a certain player that has been tossed about.

Fleming Co. in the 16th

What about Mercer County anyone know what is going on there?

3rd Region.....Owensboro Catholic will have a job opening.

What is Coach Orr doing? Surely he left on his own terms.

Powell County in the 14th is looking

What has happened with Terry. I thought he did a good job. Is it all about wins and losses? Or is there something else going on?

Why is Coach Orr leaving? Did he get a better offer?

This could be made official this week if not then an announcemt will be made on or by the 15th of April. Either way Hopkinsville will have a new coach next years.

You can almost certainly mark off the name Tommy Wade. The former University Heighta Academy Asst. Coach. Wade has been an Assistant Coach in the college ranks for several years at Saint Catherines, South Alabama, & Kentucky Wesleyan. Tommy is currently in Oklahoma City with Ray Harper. Wade has mentioned the Hoptown job in the past but right now life is good in the college ranks.

After 9 seasons at O'boro Catholic, Coach Orr has decided it's time to step down. He is leaving on his own terms and not being forced out in any way. He plans on remaining a teacher at Catholic unless a "top" job offer comes his way that he can't refuse. In my opinion he will be missed as he was great Coach and Person!
