The Lady Colonels come back from a 7 point deficit at halftime to defeat NDA on their home court. Sophomore, Brooke Davis hit two 3's in the third quarter to ignite the Colonel comeback. Liza Tibbs hit four straight free throws down the stretch. Tibbs led the Colonels with 16 points and 11 boards. Congratulations Lady Colonels.

Maybe I'm not as familiar as I think I am but I thought NDA would struggle a bit this year. Dixie has a legit stud player and are getting better.

I saw both of these teams in pre-season events and it could have gone either way to me.

Is the score correct..41-39? Because when you look at the stats on the khsaa scoreboard it looks like Dixie scored 61. It says Tibbs had 36

Senior center Liza Tibbs was 4-for-4 from the foul line in the last minute to seal Dixie Heights' 41-39 win over Notre Dame on Wednesday.

 

Tibbs finished with 16 points, including eight in the fourth quarter, and she pulled down 11 boards. Sophomore guard/forward Brooke Davis added 11 points.

 

Pandas senior guard Hillary Hellmann led all scorers with 19 points.
