Holy Cross might be a sleeper team in the 9th this year.

Let's be careful and not blame this on football. Missing Racke hurt but that's really about it. The starting 5 struggled to guard and it hurt them. Big strong kids who didn't match up well with HC's lack of size and their quickness and shooting.

With that said Trent certainly didn't look too upset on the bench.

What is 11's name for HC? Zimmerman? He's a quick kid who gets to the lane. You need to backdoor HC occasionally to keep them from shooting the passing lanes. They got quite a few steals this way tonight.

Get 3 or 4 weeks of practice on the football players and you have a better team I believe they have around 10 kids from the football team playing JV/Varsity basketball.

That's a lot of players who have only touched the ball for a week. It matters.

Let them play latter in the season with SK at full strength and its a different game... no doubt.

11 is Zimmerman.

The footballers looked like subs to me unless I'm missing someone. The core of the team is non-football.

It looked like Covington Catholic North on the HC bench tonight.

SK is going to struggle. They're football players are not "basketball" kids from what I saw tonight. I think scoring in the 1/2 court will be a season long struggle for them. Robinson has to play out of position at PG because no one else on the team can get the offense set up. This keeps him from being a primary option in Steiners system. Pracht is an athlete but not a natural scorer. Mullins is good but better when surrounded by shooters like last season. Just my thoughts. HC looked good tonight. Bezold can play!

Pracht didn't get to score any I believe he was in foul trouble all game.

Wouldn't that be East?

Ehh, you get the point.

Sounds like Mullins had a nice game. 20-15 is impressive.

It didn't feel like he had that many. I'd argue SK didn't do a great job of getting hit he ball on the post. While he has a nice stroke I didn't see the logic of running him off of a pick for a 3 point attempt. HC's #22 got two quick fouls to start the game and then a third early in the 2nd half. It didn't seem like SK emphasized getting the ball to him in those situations. HC had not one else besides #22 who could match his strength.
