Others have correctly said that Coach Salmons didn't run up a score on anyone. Maybe he was running the ball at will and decided to work on a passing game that, early n the season, had not been going as smooth. I don't know, what I do know is hat you were "spinning" things the way you wanted and from jmo failed ....shoot away, I'm bored.

People can't take the truth oldrambler. Just let them talk as they please. It's not like it will change any time soon. I like GC and I know you do too, other than one game a year. It's happening more and more. People don't know how to win. And when they do, they act like they just won the flippin' super bowl. Learn to win and know how to act. That is why the people who win, win multiple games a year (Raceland, Russell, Ashland) and continue to win through the playoffs- it's because they have been there before. But if GC or Fairview wins a game, they go crazy and tear posters and signs down, rush the field, post stupid stuff on social media, etc. the sad thing is, the parents don't even know about it.

 

Point is, act like you have won a football game before and shut your mouth, shake hands, go to the locker room and celebrate. After that, it's on to the next week. Just shut up and move on. Sheesh.

I didnt say a word when this happened at GC this year, because there is also a thing called losing respectfully. It was only brought up when the ram fans started to "question" the exact same thing happening to them. Me pointing this out turned into a gc bashing of things from the last 10 years. Congrats to the Rams on a good season.

:thumb: Well said, isn't it just awful that the little Class A school has consistently beaten up the much larger school, 4A team over a period of several years ? LR and Rams everywhere ....we are awful. :lol2:

 

Seriously, I have commented over and over again on how I was glad to see what appears to be the GCHS Football program turning things around. There are a lot of good people in that system, fan base and their kids certainly deserve it. I hope, for their sake, that trend up continues for them.....with the exception of the one week of the GC / Raceland game.
