When I was in HS at Highlands, it was charter buses (Airporters, not the Executive Charter) for all games because the school district did not own any Yellow school buses. I also remember two games (1964) when the students chartered buses for away games at McKell (regular season) and Hazard (state semi-finals). If fact for those games we effectively closed the school for the day when the buses left for the game.
