When these two teams met in October, Soutwestern prevailed 14-0 at home. Southwestern will be the home team once again, and the result will be most likely closer this time. Pulaski County has won their first two playoff games in convincing fashion, winning vs Harlan County 42-20 and at Letcher County Central 55-12. Southwestern has also won convincingly winning vs Perry County Central 42-0 and vs North Laurel 41-7. What are your predictions? A much tighter game this time? Or is one team much more improved going into this game and poised to continue the lopsided win totals in the playoffs?

What about Riley Hall? Will he play? I say if he plays effectively I think Pulaski wins, but if he doesnt play I dont think they get it done. A close game mind you but Southwestern seems pretty locked in right now.

This was on the Pulaski Football Twitter account last night: Pulaski Head Coach Johnny Hines: "Very excited to be moving on in the playoffs. It's just kind of sad to face the fact that Riley won't be back anymore this season."

Take that for what it is worth.

I haven't watched them since Coach French took over but don't they run the same offense/defense he ran at Boyle County?

AJG, what did he run at Boyle Co?

They will be multiple in looks, but very much the same in scheme.

What I mean by that us you might see them in the wishbone, then see them in 2 back Gun w/ no tights and they run some of the same (ie: counter looks).

Boyle has always been heavy in one back, two tighrs (if you ever hear "12 personel", thats what people are referring to). Southwest will do much of the same in that as well.

Needless to say, they are a very well coached group on both sides of the ball. Some players, too no doubt, which helps a bit. But, you'll not find anybody coached any better than them.

Nailed it.

French will show you a ton of offensive looks and doesn't shy from trick plays either...against Belfry they even executed a hook and ladder to perfection about midway through the game.

Their Freshman Tailback is going to be a good one as well.
