For Owensboro fans, you got what you wanted, a home game against the Maroons. I know I don't have to tell you this, but that game will be very difficult.

Owensboro fumbled 1st play giving Warren East the ball with about 20 yds fora TD. Warren East played great defense first 2 OHS possessions resulting in punts. Owensboro a great drive in 2nd for a TD, followed by a great defensive effort. 80 yd pass drom Locher to Collier was on the money in stride for a 14-7 halftime lead. 2nd half Owensboro has another fumble, WE deep in OHS territory can't score, OHS then drives to WE 4, and bad toss recovered and returned to deep into OhHs territory butOHS held. OHS drives scores, returns a fumble for a score, then TJ James took one to the house from deep for a 35-7 lead. OHS had another fumble return TD called back on a low block. WE 1string finished the scoring with 1 minute left with an 80 yd drive against deep reserves in for OHS. WE is a good defensive team but needs to develop the offense a bit more.

OHS is going to have to clean it up fast with Madisonville coming to town. I know the Maroons have have been wanting this game since letting their first meeting slip away. This one should be a classic!
