November 5, 201411 yr Which is why I opposed Sarah Palin so vehemently. Then why did you not oppose Obama for the same reason ??
November 5, 201411 yr I heard there were now 100 Women in Congress and the Senate...I don't know the political make up. I'm not as concerned of the political make up. I know this will tick of many here, but I think the female demographic is under represented and that our country has become an Old Boys club. Regardless of politics, I think women can bring a new dimension to shaping policy, especially domestic policy. First time in history that there have been 100 women in Congress so it's moving in the right direction. Slowly but it is trending upwards.
November 5, 201411 yr Then why did you not oppose Obama for the same reason ?? I didn't vote for President Obama because he was female. I voted for him the first time because I felt he represents change. I voted for him the second time because I liked the change he had brought with AHCA, and Romney wanted to repeal it.
November 5, 201411 yr Plus...this guy lost That guy is far creepier looking than any of the Rob Lowe alter-egos we've been seeing lately.
November 5, 201411 yr That guy is far creepier looking than any of the Rob Lowe alter-egos we've been seeing lately. Who is he and what was he running for?
November 5, 201411 yr Who is he and what was he running for? Apparently that Clay Aiken person who once was somewhat popular for reasons I can't define.
November 5, 201411 yr Per Wikipedia: There have been 44 women in the United States Senate since the establishment of that body in 1789. The first woman served in 1922 (for a single day), but the first woman elected to the Senate was Hattie Caraway in 1932. Fourteen of the women who have served were appointed; seven of those were appointed to succeed their deceased husbands. Currently, the 113th Congress has 20 female senators, the most in U.S. history. Women have served in the United States House of Representatives since the 1917 entrance of Jeannette Rankin, a Republican from Montana. Nearly 300 women have since served in the House. As of January 2014, there are 79 female representatives, or 18% of the body.
November 5, 201411 yr Apparently that Clay Aiken person who once was somewhat popular for reasons I can't define. Ohhhhh....didn't he famously lose on American Idol? Sounds like he's experienced not getting enough votes.
