Torrey Smith Calls Bengals Burfict "Dirty"

Featured Replies

Usually not one to create controversy, Ravens receiver Torrey Smith took a shot at Bengals linebacker Vontaze Bufict today -- while also admitting Burfict could have done more damage when hit a defenseless Smith on Sunday.

Smith was hunched over after a collision with Cincinnati's Leon Hall following a Bengals interception.

“It could have been a lot worse watching the video,” Smith said according to the Baltimore Sun's Jon Meoli. “That’s the one time. As a dirty of a player as I think he is — he’s a heck of a player — he’s a dirty one, too. He definitely held up. He has some good to him.”

I am sure he will next time, and there will be a next time.

Vontaze is dirty. We saw that against the Panthers.

Man, talkin about the epitome of a one trick pony. Now, he can run by you and if you give their overpaid QB time, he can burn you on the deep go route. But he's invisible everywhere else on the field. In that animated gif, he's just standing.

Sure, but to be called out by one of that bunch is laughable.

The messenger , in this case, is not good.

The message is correct.

Remember when they resigned him to an extension, everyone was pumped, and I asked why, didnt think he was that good.

Just saying.

He's the master of the obvious. Already fined for it. Not exactly breaking news.

I would rather him be dirty or he could be like the old #55 Rivers who got his jaw broke.

Rivers got his jaw broke because he wasnt a very good LB.

I was pumped and am still going with bad timing. In other words, the injury bug hit him and he got caught playing dirty. Hopefully both improve in the future.

He doesn't have a future, he will not be in the NFL long enough to see the end of that contract.
