Please throw the gauntlet down and challenge Highlands and Covington Catholic to sign two-year home and away contracts. If neither team is willing to go on the road to play a 4A team in eastern Kentucky, then at least it will help put to rest the criticism of your scheduling efforts.

 

In the worst case, the games would be great playoff preparation. In the best case, you could point to a couple of 4A state titles and to wins over the 5A state champions.

Maybe if you guys can prove to be better than St. X then BG may try to get you on the schedule again. Build your skills.

And you do realize this is 2014? You can talk all you want, but Trinity would have been absolutely shellacked by the Purps this and last season ... Oh how the mighty have fallen in the last couple of years.

Highlands will have their hands full with us next season. Until proven otherwise the 5A state championship runs through BG. Literally and figuratively.
