I'm so proud of all of the guys stepping up this year ... REPEAT #1 finished ... Time to repeat Regional Champions .. can't wait to be in Pikeville and watch them

We have to work on our penalties! It will come back to bite us deep in the playoffs. Too many 15 yard penalties! I like our kids playing with attitude but you have to know when to keep your mouth shut.

Btw, Kash Daniels is the real deal. He is a heck of a football player.

That's amazing.

Raceland outscored their three District opponents 120-6.

Nicholas County 40-0

Fairview 48-6

Paintsville 32-0

May be the best overall defense we have had at Raceland since I've been around (2006).

Welcome to BGP OC13 ! Always great to have another Ram on board.

Doc, I talked to a man earlier tonight that graduated Raceland in 1974 (I was a 75' grad) and he said that this team had the best overall defense that he had seen at Raceland. Considering that he, himelf was a KY. 1A all state LB his senior year ......that is a statement ! Compassing 40 years (dang I am old ) and all the district champion teams that Raceland has had along with defense was what Raceland was most noted for all through the 70's (Randy Vanderhoof played on a Rams team that no one scored on in their first 6 games (I think that's what it was)), All through Coach Heck 's / Snyders's teams (70's) , Coach B.T. Ross (80's), Vanderhoof (90;s) until now and all the good teams........Wow, just Wow !!

Let me just say .....AMEN Brother Doc !!

I don't want to leave this thread without mentioning a THANK YOU to All SENIORS !

This game was also Senior night at RAM Stadium. All of the Senior football players - Cheerleaders and the Ram Pride Band Members were honored tonight along with their parents / family. Raceland - Worthington are very small and tight communities. Around here everybody knows everybody and as singer Charlie Daniels says in his song ...."we all stick together and you van take that to the bank" and "we may do a little fightin' amoungst ourselves but you outsiders best leave us alone" pretty much sums it up at Raceland.

I don't want to leave all the parents of these kids out....they are the ones that spent the money, took kids to and from practices and games from a young (jfl & LL) age up until now. All the sacrifices deserve mention.

SO....To ALL SENIOR FOOTBALL, CHEERLEADERS, BAND MEMBERS and their parents ----THANK YOU !! All of you have made this Raceland High School 1975 Alum Proud ! And ......

ONCE a RAM, ALWAYS a RAM !!

It's A GREAT DAY TO BE A RAM !!

and ... although this is a U.K. Video, Raceland has the same fight song so.....here ya go (and yes - I am crazy for posti this much)

Raceland defense has had only 6 points scored in them in the Month of October. That one td, if I am not mistaken was a td by the team in Westwood in the 4th qtr vs. the Rams JV team.

Three games - 6 points, that's DEFENSE !

Actually it was early in the game with Raceland up 14-0. Frankly the play should have been stopped.
