I think the sight of SK players rocking helmets from all over NKY is a great reminder to the students about how you help your neighbors.

 

It's not a surprise nor should it be a surprise that any and all schools stepped up to help. It's a human thing.

 

Kids (and some adults) get a great reminder.

Im under the understanding that Bullitt Central offered to bring up with them anything SK needed.

 

Another classy move.

We rag on each other pretty good on here but it's neat to see the teams rise above us. Of course, we do set the bar low.

 

I can admit at times I've helped set the bar low with help :up:. To see everyone put aside the petty difference we have and help these young men is humbliung and everyone should be proud to be part of the NKY community.

I think uk#1fan should make a t-shirt and wear it the rest of the season and it should have all 8 helmets on it from the teams that donated the equipment and he should have across the front of the t-shirt the name "NKY#1fan"

 

Will Highlands be on the shirt? LOL!!!!

Way to be a week late.

SK also lost a fan that would come to most of the games yesterday. Richard Wainscott was hit by a car and later died at UC. He worked at Krogers as a bagger and IGA. He was a huge Reds, UK and Bengals fan. I always seen him at the SK games.
