April is more likely though.

Absolutely asinine, idiots. Why the shot at UK?

Do you really have to ask? If a shot is available, he will take it. At least he's not an expert marksman

You act as though unruly student celebrations and burning couches are a foreign concept in Lexington.

It happens pretty much everywhere these days, so again, why the shot at UK? Or do you see a UK championship in the foreseable future?

Yeah, I know.

I don't believe I stated any of that in my post. We all know the above happens. However the times I've been on/near UK campus during big wins or championships, I've never seen/experienced the property destruction (and I don't mean burning your own couch) or violence that was described in Morgantown the other night. And I'm certainly not stating there aren't idiot students in Lexington.

"Everybody's doing it" is a pretty poor excuse for bad fan behavior, but whatever makes you feel better. Other than the rioting that occurred in Vancouver a few years ago after the Canucks lost in the Stanley Cup finals, it seems like Morgantown and Lexington are the capitals of this stuff.

Things got pretty hairy during UK's run to the finals in March. And are you really trying to excuse this behavior by taking the "Morgantown's worse" stance? Wow.

It's not an excuse, I never implied it to be. Fact is however, that its not up to you, I or any other fan to keep it from happening, that would be up to law enforcement. It happens in a lot of places, so to single UK out, clearly shows an agenda. At least they aren't rioting with airsoft guns, that would shut the whole city down apparently.

I'm not trying to excuse anything. I'm just telling you what I saw and experienced around UK. What happened in Morgantown, as I read it, was a near riot. I just don't recall anyone in Lexington pelting cops with rocks and bottles and stealing/tearing stuff up at construction sites.

A google search of "riots Kentucky basketball" seems to contradict your soft-pedaling, but anyway. Somebody got shot after UK won its last national title, just to refresh your memory, and cars were overturned.

The only thing missing was the construction sites part. I look at that as simply Morgantown raising the bar.
