Like I said Eastern has Talent :thumb:

Yes they do! Beating SHA at the Valkyries gym was quite the eye opener and puts them in the 3rd position in the 7th region. I suspect they will keep improving as the season progresses because of the younger players getting PT.

What players have joined the program that will help them get to the elite level in the 7th region.

Collins is a threat from the outside, but will have trouble guarding quicker kids. Shavia Thompson has great upside, but needs to learn to play under control. Gets in foul trouble most of the time.

Porter can help, but who else is there to "silence the doubters"?

I don't see them beating Male, Manual, or Sacred Heart this year.

In reading through the previous posts, wasn't that comment from last year?

Yes. But it was said.. so get your popcorn

Should be interesting, SHA only added a guard named Harris and only lost one major contributor in Johnson, it looks like Berger, Samsel, Harris, Taylor and Silvas has their work cut out for them. Eastern looks to have all starters retiring as well as a new name, it looks like in Mishler. I've heard SHA is young, is Eastern and who besides starters should we look for?

That was from a different year, so is irrelevant. The CJ pre-season rankings have them ahead of SHA, so the pressure is squarely on them.

Adding Mishler in my mind is huge for Eastern. They will be tough to beat.

Its not irrelevant.. It's a fact you never respected the girls so grab some

Well you're going down the wrong path. I root for all of these girls and watch them during the summer playing on their AAU teams. As far as strength and weaknesses go we all have them. The ones that improve on their weaknesses reach their potential.

I'm sure they all improved over last year which is great. Like I said before this game won't make or break the season. I guess we will agree to disagree.

Good luck tonight and pray the girls all stay healthy.

If I had a popcorn eating emoji I would post it but I don't so....chomp chomp chomp

Lots of trash talking in this thread from the Eastern faithful. Better hope your girls can back up the crazy parents talk on message boards. Mishler is best player on the team. Without her you would lose by 10-15 just like last year. Good luck to both teams but the jawing by parents sucks.
