I would love for Hazard to win this one. I don't see it happening! The Indians are too tough and this is a bad draw for the Bulldogs. Of course, I don't see a bad team in the Sweet 16, so I am not sure what would have been a good draw? Hicks is phenomenal, but I don't think he can lead Hazard past this uphill challenge.

Losing 66-50 to Lexington Catholic may be considered respectable in the

14th region, but not in the 11th. I say Central by 14. Go Indians!

 

umm, how did that 19 point loss to lexington catholic feel for Mad. Central? not too good, Hazard won't get blown out, they will not win, but Mad. central is the best matchup of any 11th region contender for Hazard, central is young and Hazard has a veteran team. Umm, I played in the 11th region for four years, so i know 11th region basketball very well, and this is the least talented 11th region team to win it in a long time, I love the 11th region, but some people need to quit being homers and realize that their team just isn't championship material.

They played PRP in the semis,I believe, and a ref from G-town totally took the game from them. It was sad to see. I don't know a whole lot about these teams but my heart says go Dawgs! If anyone remembers that tourney please post it. I would like to hear someone elses take on it.

I believe if your good enough to win the 11th, then your good enough to win state. I believe that Aaron Morris and Keyshawn Simpson are both future D-1 athletes, no question. I'm not saying Duke or UK, but there are alot of D-1 teams.

Someone once said that Jackson City in no way matched up with Leslie County. Another said that Leslie could put 3 players out on the floor and beat Jackson City. Final score: Jackson City 65 Leslie County 64. If Hazard goes out and plays with Heart, then it's a proven fact that they will match up just fine. Good luck Hazard, represent us well!

It would have to be a great game by the Bulldogs to get the upset but not impossible. I don't think they will get blown out. Could be a 6 or 7 point game. Maybe it is just my heart rooting for the 14th?????????

I am very high on Madison Central. They have a legitimate shot to win the whole thing. They may be the most athletic team at Rupp. If they shoot well in the big house, look out.
