Agree or disagree?

Kidwell is a great PG, but I think it's going to be a tough year for my Titans

Grant is to low. Seen theme several times this summer, they have a lot of pieces to the puzzle. SK at number 3 with no top ten players? I guess Matt Mullins and Jager Pract have some work to do.

Agree with 1 & 2 just based on last year. A few things though:

 

1) SK seems too high with losing two of their best players and lost a lot of scoring.

 

2) Heard Oldham County lost one of their top players. Didn't get a name of who though.

 

3) Grant County should be higher based on what I saw this summer but also due to the fact they have 2 of the top 10 preseason players I would have assumed CatsPause would have too.

 

4) Owen County may go up if the Gallatin transfer makes an impact.

SK will be very good this year.

SK's Noah Robinson is a 4 year starter and can play all five spots he should be on the list.

From what I have heard Pracht is going to be unstoppable driving to the rim throwing down dunks. Mullins great down low. SK will be lead by 6 Seniors, 7 Juniors and some real good Sophomores.

I watched them this summer and they seemed out of sync most of the time. The Robinson kid is good but not great at any position and they don't have a true shooter like they have in the past. I still think they're 2nd in their district. I think Steiner gives them an edge over some teams though.

 

Curious as to what you think about the other NKY teams in the 32nd.

No mike Dunaway? Trimble co?

In the summer they was probably missing some football kids Racke, Morrison, Vercheak, Harney and Heflin.

I know Vercheak played. Don't know the other players so I can't be sure but I'd assume if he did then they wouldn't have a reason not to.

I'm curious to see SK this year. Not sure where the shooting will come from but can't wait to see Matt Mullins play. Kid has a high motor and will outwork just about everyone he's on the floor with. That district should come down to SK/Grant. Walton still has some work to do.

I don't think that Collins will be too bad, but I don't think they will be as good as they have been. Even though they've never won the region, they've had a lot of success with 3 straight 20-win seasons. I don't know if they can get to the 20 win mark this year. They may struggle to score some as they don't seem to have any scoring threats outside of Kidwell and Deion Cochran at this point. They will be a bit undersized too.

Shooting is definitely their big question mark. If they can find a consistent shooter they should be pretty good. The question is where the shooter comes from, either an existing varsity player that worked hare over the summer and improved or someone steps up from the JV. They have several sophomores that can shoot it very well, but will they be ready to do it at the varsity level? The injury to JC Hawkins hurts in that regard as he was one of the freshman that played JV last year and can shoot.
