After a week off Raceland (5-1) will be hosting Nicholas County (2-4) this Friday night. The KHSAA schedules still has NC listed as district 7. I thought that the Jacket were going to another district. Will the Blue Jackets, coming off a blowout win over Pendleton get the major upset or do the favored Rams, coming off their bye week continue their winning ways ?

Raceland played what I thought was their best, most complete game of the season two weeks ago, getting a W at then previously unbeaten Lawrence Co. at Lawrence.

I look for the RAMS to continue their winning ways, more than likely on a running clock.

Raceland 43

Nicholas Co. 6

Who wins?

I will take my Rams. We played our best game 2 weeks ago and well rested with this bye. We have no significant injuries and are at full strength. I think we win by 2 or more scores.

I will agree with you. Honestly, I think we win big to open district play.

Rams 45

Blue Jackets 7

The Rams win this one big.

A I thought that the Jacket were going to another district.

That happens next season with the re-alignment.

Getting this week started off with "Moe's Monday".

Hey Ram, it's raining and supposed to rain all week. I guess it's the week of Nicholas County. Very appropriate since we are losing them from our schedule to have a good rainy game for a send off.

Enough said.....

It is always like that during the Nicholas County game. Rainy. So weird.

RAMS 54

blue jackets 6

Never doubted it would. If there is ever a draught just have Raceland schedule Nicholas County to a football game and poof, draught fixed.

That rain does not spoil pickled eggs........:sssh:

(Sadly however, that individual that had to have them is no longer with us, was one of the most loyal Raceland fans ever.)

RAMS .....On any given night, any team can beat another, better team. Nicholas doesn't have to be the best team over a season, they just have to be the best one on Friday night.
