I never said CCH did nothing wrong last night. Teams/players commit fouls every game. Joe Schuh received the only yellow card for CCH last night after he was called for a foul against Treadway. I think it was a retaliation and not smart by Joe. He came out of the game where he remained and would have been for the duration had Ben Darpel not been hacked (by Treadway) and taken out of the game for the duration late in the second half. Joe replaced him on the field.

 

I believe Scott had 5 yellows, most of which were for dissent, including Schneider's. It could have easily been 7-8 yellows. Schneider was whining/crying after every play when he didn't get a call and finally the ref had enough. Scott's keeper, also a yellow for dissent. Hegerty I believe.......yellow for dissent. All of them just come right back into the game after a short break. You see no issue with that?

I think that we all know both teams can whine the same amount and the cards will be different. It is how you whine that often causes problems.

I'm sure they did at some point but obviously not enough or in a manner that resulted in a yellow card. Maybe they didn't use enough words that started with and "F" or "S"?

His mom is a high school soccer ref and she can't even get him to cool it.

If I recall, he tripped Treadway along the sideline. Garden variety foul from what I saw. They were mixing it up, I think Joe felt he was fouled and when it wasn't called he fouled and it was called, which is normally the case w/ retaliation fouls.

There is absolutley no reason at all for a grown man/woman to call out any kid individually on a blogging site. It's unnecesary and classless. Everyone parents their kids differently. I think it is best and strongly suggest you keep all negative comments about an individual or his/her parents to yourself.

You are right about adults calling out kids. I do my best not to call out kids (I am sure I have screwed up in the past) individually, but I didn't in this case. I just suggested that a parent who couldn't control their kid may want to try what would work for me.

No you were calling me out and I should have been. At the end of the day, we wll need to realize these are real kids and real families and we need to be careful about how we talk about them. I will be more careful.
