I understand you have an opinion just not sure how or why??

My point has been and will be that you did not see this team play once last year! Yes you may have seen a few individuals, know a few individuals and or maybe even coached a few individual players but you did not see them as a team to say that you have or know the formula! I also couldn't make the Holmes vs. Highland game last year and wouldn't begin to tell you how to beat the Bluebirds!

 

Then the only harm is that I'm wrong, right? I can still have an opinion. From my knowledge, that's how I would approach them. Just because I didn't see them last year doesn't mean I can't have an opinion of what I think would challenge them. It doesn't mean squat. Just my opinion of their weaknesses and that's what this board if for...discussion. Not proof...that happens on the court in March.

 

BTW...the Birds have no weaknesses!!! They are Holmes worse nightmare!!!!

I've told you HOW...based on what I know historically and opinions of many others very close to the game. And WHY...Because I'm allowed. You don't have to agree with it. That's fine. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. But it doesn't really make sense to ask someone "why" they have an opinion.

I'm just saying I couldn't even begin to give my opinion on the Bluebirds! Other than Jamie Walz was a Beast!!! But I don't think she plays anymore and that gives everyone else a good chance at winning the 9th!!

Well this has been a fun read. I find it hard to believe that it will be only Holmes and HHS. I am not sure Holmes can get out of the district. HC is very good, ND always is, and Beechwood will be competitive.

Holy Cross will be good and Beechwood showed Holmes last year that on any given night any team can win. With that being said that district is a 2 team race too much fire power, athleticism and now some experienced the Lady Dawgs!

From my standpoint, never meant to say it was Holmes and HHS. I have said many times, there are probably 4-6 teams with a legit shot. IMO

Agree Beechwood could be a "tough out" on any given night. With that said, Homes and HC along with Highlands are in a top 3 tier as we start the season IMO. Of the 3, I would give the slight edge to Highlands due to returning 5 starters and coaching. There will be some strong potential for some teams just under that top tier to make a lot of noise...happy to say I think Ryle is one of those and looking forward to tip off!

In on the court news.... Hannah Tubbs has been cleared for action and the Bulldogs were at full strength last night! A ton of depth on the floor with seven starters(3 from previous schools) on one team!

I just don't see anyone walking off with anything in this region. You better be ready to bring your A Game every night and you better have a deep bench that can play. Can't wait , how many more days ? :thumb:
