Does Pikeville have a answer to those 2 bookend D- tackle for Belfry?

I don't think their line matches up, but they have a whale of a running back in Pugh that if he gets loose, he is a ton of trouble for everyone.

I think this Pikeville team is going to come out ready to make a statement. They are better than they have been in a long time, but more importantly, I think they believe in themselves. Look for this game to be a war for a while early on. Belfry should be able to wear them down and pull ahead before it's all over with but I feel it could be close at the break.

 

I think Pikeville's offense is good enough to get some scores, but I don't know if the defense can hold up against this Belfry team. I'm going to predict 35-14 Belfry but I could see either team getting another score leaving the final margin anywhere from 14 to 28 points.

 

What I hope happens? I would love to see the Panthers come out and hit Belfry right in the mouth early and jump out to a lead. One of the characteristics of the past couple of Belfry teams was they didn't panic when they got behind, thanks to great leadership on the field. (and coaching ) This team hasn't faced any adversity yet and I'd love to see how they react to some. It would be really interesting to see who would step up as a leader, and how much composure this team would have if they were down a couple of touchdowns at the end of the first quarter.
