Here was starting defensive end for Monroe...They are waiting on doctor to see if he will have surgery tonight or tomorrow! Harry Doyle Posted September 4, 2014 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Best wishes on a quick (within reason, not an injury you want to push obviously) and safe recovery. I know a young man who had the exact same break in the spring of '13 (the week after Kevin Ware had his gruesome break at that, and was operated by the same doctor). It seemed like it took him a full 7 months or so for full recovery. He finished up the last part of basketball season and is back on the field in football (so far, so good).
