Best wishes on a quick (within reason, not an injury you want to push obviously) and safe recovery. I know a young man who had the exact same break in the spring of '13 (the week after Kevin Ware had his gruesome break at that, and was operated by the same doctor). It seemed like it took him a full 7 months or so for full recovery. He finished up the last part of basketball season and is back on the field in football (so far, so good).

Update on player...they decided to send him home packing his leg in ice to lower swelling. It was to great to do surgery. Scheduled surgery for Monday to insert plate and pins.
