I think Garrard was the better team, but only slightly. These teams could play ten times and would probably split. Garrard was seemingly in command midway through the third quarter, but then Danville scored on a long pass and a pick-six. The interception return for Danville on a tipped ball was a back-breaker that really swung momentum to the Admirals. Garrard responded well, but couldn't sink the field goal at the buzzer.

This was a really good game to watch. Both teams will do well this year.

 

Going to be a very interesting game next Friday.

Garrard County ran 63 plays on offense, and Danville ran 34. Garrard had great control of the game!

How was Garrard the better team if they didnt win? Also Danville played without there starting QB.

Were you at the game. Just going by what I saw. Garrard must have ran for 350. I didnt expect that

I must also add that the winning QB for Danville hasn't played football since he was a freshmen!

Fair question. Me saying I thought Garrard was better centered more on how they really controlled the game. And like I also said, these teams would split a series. Two really strong clubs.

 

By the way, nobody has mentioned this, but Danville linebacker Tyquan Matthews was a force on defense. What a terrific player.
