McCracken Co wins the toss and elects to receive..

The Mustangs get the ball 1st and 10 at there own 26 yard line.

The Mustangs moved the ball down to the Cardinal 26 yd line but the Cards hold on a 4th and 4 and take the ball over at there own 26 yd line..

On Mayfields 2nd play from scrimmage, they fumble and McCracken gets the ball deep in Mayfield territory, but, the Cards D come up big and stuff them a yard short on 4th down and the Cards take over at there 17 yd line..

The Cards pick up a 1st down, 1st and 10 at there own 35 yd line.

 

On 1st down, Trajen Bright picks up 7, Hernandez picks up 3 on 2nd down for another 1st down.

 

On 1st down, Mustangs sack the Cardinal QB for a 10 yard loss..

 

On 2nd down @ 22, an incomplete pass.

 

On 3rd and 22, Bright picks up 7 on a draw and the Cards will punt it..

Mustangs have the ball at there own 38 yd line with 5:38 to go in the 1st, still no score..

Hughes picks up 40 yds for a 1st down and are threatening again..

 

McCracken now has it again 4th and 4 at the Cardinal 31 yd line.. McCracken gets it this time and now has it at the Cardinal 7 yd line, 1st and goal.

7 yd TD run by Hughes, PAT is good, it's now 7-0 McCracken with 3:13 to go in 1st qtr..

McCracken has dominated the field position thus far and the Cards have stopped them in the red zone 2 out of 3 times, but, you aren't going to stop them every time..

A good kickoff return by Bright gives the Cards good field position at there own 36 yd line..

After a 1st down, the Mustangs gets an interception and they'll have it 1st and 10 at the Card 45 yd line..

Cash Jones now at QB, after an incompletion, Jones hits Hughes who takes all the way to the Cardinal 10 yd line, 1st and goal again for the Stangs.

TD McCracken, 14-0 with abt 30 secs left in 1st qtr..
