10-0 Mayfield, Hernandez on a 1 yd run, pat good... 1:43 left in 1st qtr

end of 1st qtr, still 10-0... Cardinal D looking good.. Offense has been hit and miss,, More effective running the ball right now, but, they have hit on a couple of nice pass plays.. At the same time, Arnetts been sacked a couple of times.. Sounds like he's holding onto the ball too long and may should throw the ball away vs taking a big loss..

Mayfield blocks a punt on the 1st play of the 2nd qtr and Mayfield gets the ball at the Falcon 12 yd line.. 3 plays later, Hernandez takes it in from 3 yards out.. PAT is good, now 17-0 with 11:10 to go in 2nd qtr..

 

Mayfields kicker, Sidney Herndon, looks like he's going to be a great weapon for the Cards this year.. All 4 of his kickoffs have been boomed into the endzone, plus kicked a 36 yd field goal..

Jordan Tyler takes it in from 16 yrds out to extend the lead to 24-0..

5 for 5 for Herndon getting the ball into the endzone.. That takes away a big part of Ft Campbells arsenal, as they have 3 very fast returners who aren't getting the opportunity to return anything..

Mayfield's D is dominating action right now. The Falcons have 1 big pass play in the game that got the ball inside the Cardinal 25 yd line, other than that, it's pretty much been 3 plays and punt.. Ft Campbell trying to pass the ball alot and the Cardinal speed giving there offense alot of problems.

The Cards just stopped the Falcons on a 4th and 1 and have the ball at the Falcon 38 yd line with still 6 minutes to go in the half.

Trajon Bright just scored on a 43 yard run.. PAT is good again.. 31-0 Cards..

Trajon Bright scores again from 1 yard out to make it 38-0 with just over 3:00 to go in 2nd qtr.. OL looking very impressive opening up huge holes for the running game and Bright, Tyler, Hernandez all looking good running the ball, while mixing in the passing game nicely..
