I read an article in the Paducah Sun about the QB battle at Graves Co. I didnt see the Barnard kids name mentioned in the mix. He was the QB at Marshall County last year and a senior this year, pretty tall if I remember correctly. Is he going to Graves or did I hear that wrong?

Did Graves county return the QB from last year?

Did Graves county return the QB from last year?

No, the QB graduated along with some of their O and D lines. They do return a bunch of talent though including a stud of a RB who holds offers as well as a D/OL who is an excellent player and holds offers as well. Regardless of who their QB is, he will have a lot to work with and if he is good, they'll be a real threat in the West.

I heard his sister was going to Graves but have not heard if he went or not.

The Barnard kid was only QB at Marshall for 1/2 the season with his dad as a coach.

I have heard he did enroll at Graves but not sure if eligible yet. But don't think he will be QB.

The RB will be a handful.

I thought that Bonsteter had won the QB job, well that was what I heard but that was a week or so ago and I have not read the article

I think their QB will be junior McKee with sophomore Bonnstetter right on his heels. Graves wont pass as much as last year just hand the ball to Crider and watch him run. I just hope they don't over use him.

I heard from a Graves parent that at their scrimmage Friday night against Rossview, TN that they only threw the ball a few times but still won 27-0. Switched out QB's every other series, each had 1 completion and threw 1 int.

Barnard is playing and supposed to be able to play today so could throw another kink in there at QB...

Graves has decided to go with a 3 QB alternating system. Spread the other team out and hand the ball to the RB.

Interesting. Not sure how a 3 man rotation allows anyone to get in a groove but seems to me they are going to saddle Crider and run him in the ground. So defensively, everyone key on Crider, force him back to the middle, pressure the QB and just assume the risk on any of three young or mediocre QBs completing a pass.
