This rumor has been going on for years. If NewCath is ever going to get its own field now is the time since Kmart went under. I was told that the bishop wants nothing to do with the diocese helping with the purchase of the land or fund raising. I dont see it ever happening.

 

The diocese owned all of that land years ago.

Maybe NCC should think outside the box and just buy space in the office building down by the floodwall. They could sell the property on the hill to a developer and build a sports complex close by.

NCC really takes pride of the "view" of Cincy from the hill. With that, they also make a decent amount of $ from it, via the WEBN fireworks, and things of that nature, due to the view. Don't see that ever happening.
