Heard Brewer will play her Sr. year either in Bardstown or at Manuel...

The News Enterprise says... Bardstown is the place she will land.

Makes sense. Isn't her father the coach at Bardstown?

Yep. Head boys coach.

no room at etown?

He was the coach in B-town last year also...

...and it is not that we (ETOWN) don't have any room... More like

IT IS HARD TO BEAT ETOWN. AND EVEN HARDER TOPLAY FOR US!!! In any sport LOL!!! JS

Manual would be a nice fit for her with the strong post game they have.

Are you insinuating Alexis Brewer can't make the cut at E'town? Otherwise it just sounds like you're taunting her still from the region finals.

I just thought there was a "pipeline."

I am just aggravating on the previous posts..............but a serious question(s).....how and why? How can she go to another school...change of address? Why would she leave for her senior year?

I'm saying...these ladies have been playing together so long it would take her a year to speak the language.. She would make the team on talent no doubt, but the "MUDD" is good and thick.

Just like our football team has one of the best backs in the state, and we can't get him to back to back practices...

Alexis Brewer is a high D1 basketball player and would be one of, if not the best, player on any basketball team in the state. To think she wouldn't fit in from a basketball standpoint is ridiculous.

E-town is your region champ next year hands down. That's done and over.

Fact is, a LaRue County lead Alexis Brewer team next year is probably the same as what a now Bardstown lead team by her will now be. Bardstown won 9 games last year, lost 8-9 of them which were winnable games (around that 10 point or less margin).....insert Brewer and she now gives you what's needed to win those games.

...so, "It's my senior year. My dad teaches and coaches there. E-town is the unofficial region champs hands down no matter the school I attend I have family there. My dad wore that same jersey, as did my brothers...it's my senior year and I've always wanted to do the same deep down."

Here is guessing that was a lot of the thinking, and I for one, can't blame her one bit. She is doing something that all of us have either done (played at the same school as our parents attended and/or worked at) or wanted to do....she is just doing it.

Is E-Town #1 preseason in state?

What schools have offered?
