MLB Trade Deadline Rumors and Deals

When is the last time a team had either the last 3 Cy Young winners (assuming it was 3 different people) or 3 Cy Young winners in its rotation?

Has to be Glavine, Maddux and Smoltz.

Saw this on Twitter. Tigers have that now. Not sure if that's what your asking though.

That was the impetus of my question.

Halladay, Lee, and Hamels don't all have Cy Youngs but they were as good as anyone.

They also had Oswalt as their 4th, although he was somewhat in the twilight years.

Brian Roberts was DFA'd by the Yanks. Surely the Reds inquire, right?

Is he any better than what they have?

Ramon Santiago? Probably, yes.

Can Roberts play SS?

That also have the last 3 AL MVP's too.

Tigers probably just won the AL pennant.

There are years of Braves teams and fans that disagree with you.

Huh?

I would play Bonifacio over BJ

BJ has given the Braves his career averages, or close, since the beginning of July. He's not hitting with as much power, but he's getting on base more often. With that said...He's still hitting .215 for the season.

Huh?

He's saying that having the best pitching staff doesn't always equate to a pennant. Like the Braves in the 90's and early 2000's. Underachieved a lot with Maddux, Glavine, and Smoltz once the postseason started.

Huh?

Just saying that having the best pitching staff in baseball doesn't always equate to winning your league championship as those Braves teams and their fans would tell you.!
