Taylor Morrison, late of Simon Kenton

.........

I was a big fan of Taylor's this season and enjoyed following his career. Always had that boy next door, aww shucks, look to him, then went out and got 20 points, and was always in the right place at the right time. Was a huge fan.

Yesterday my son's AAU team played his little brother's AAU team and I talked to him for a while after the game. He is an even better kid than I thought. Bright, great eye contact, polite -- great ambassador for Simon Kenton as well as Northern KY. I'd be very fortunate to have my son grow up to be just like that young man.

It is young men like Taylor Morrison and Corey Fussinger that give me great hope in the next generation. The older I get, and the older my kids get, the more I appreciate good athletes who are GREAT young people off the court.

Hats off to the parents who raised young Mr. Morrison....well done! :thumb:

He has one brother that plays football and basketball for SK that will be a Jr. and a younger brother.

Never heard anyone say anything bad about Taylor. Great kid. A real role model for his younger brothers and sister...although I'm sure big sis would tell you he learned all he knows from her.

My son played AAU with Mr. Morrison, class act!

Youngest brother is also a really nice basketball player. Good young prospect. Going to be a 5th grader I believe.... look out!

That is who we played against, and yes, he'll be a 5th grader.

Great thread, Mensch! Always good to see threads like this.
