Cards @ Reds

Sunday would be Cueto's NORMAL day to start anyway, DUH!!!!!!!!!!! :ohbrother:

I realize that. They have an off day no need to switch the rotation around to get going 1 day early. An extra day of rest is a good thing for a guy on pace to hit his career high in IP.

I would agree with you 100% IF this team wasn't on the verge of spitting the bit on this season. This Reds team has got to take 2 of 3 from the Cards. If this team is 1-1 against the Cards going into Sunday's game, Cueto has got to pitch, to give this team it's best chance to win, playing it SAFE from this point forward isn't going to work if you are serious about trying to make a playoff run THIS season. :idunno:

I would normally agree with this. I think more managers should think a little more outside the box and have a better sense of urgency daily. However, Cueto might have to be shut down at the All Star break at this pace. They may not have any choice but to leave the rotation as is. Also, if they want to be any type of contender with the Cards, they have to be able to beat them with more than just Cueto. Someone else on that staff has to step up and beat them.

100% agree, but still think RIGHT NOW Cueto is better then anything else you got, tired arm or not, come Sunday.

Laughing at this thread right now

They won't win today. Nats 5 Reds 2 Simon 6.1 innings 4 er 6 hits 2 walks 1 K

Guessing it's still early, and games in May don't count as much as games in Sept, my bad.

Before it closes I will say I would take my chances with Mike Leake every time out. (0-1, 1.82 last 4 starts)
