May 1, 201412 yr Is it still early??? Unless you think the Brewers are going to win 95 games then yes.
May 1, 201412 yr ....... Who would have thought on May 1 that the Brewers would have the best record in baseball? I predicted them to win 88 in our predict the NL Central thread, and figured they'd be much better, but I don't think anyone saw this coming. Their 11-2 road record is nothing short of ridiculous. I certainly agree with many that there are no "must win" games before the Derby, but you can't completely lose touch with them either. A split isn't the end of the World, would certainly be great to win 3 or 4 of them, and your job only gets tougher if you lose 3 or 4 of them. There isn't one pitching match-up that you think the Reds just own in this series, but Saturday's game is an absolute gem of a pitching match-up. Hopefully the weather is as beautiful for all 4 games as the experts are predicting as of today.
May 1, 201412 yr Sounds like the BrewCrew will be without Ryan Braun, who has been out with a strained oblique. Segura may return (he took a bat to the face, courtesy of Braun). I'm a little hesitant with LRCW starting the thread but let's give it a whirl.
