Unless you think the Brewers are going to win 95 games then yes.

.......

Who would have thought on May 1 that the Brewers would have the best record in baseball? I predicted them to win 88 in our predict the NL Central thread, and figured they'd be much better, but I don't think anyone saw this coming. Their 11-2 road record is nothing short of ridiculous.

I certainly agree with many that there are no "must win" games before the Derby, but you can't completely lose touch with them either. A split isn't the end of the World, would certainly be great to win 3 or 4 of them, and your job only gets tougher if you lose 3 or 4 of them. There isn't one pitching match-up that you think the Reds just own in this series, but Saturday's game is an absolute gem of a pitching match-up. Hopefully the weather is as beautiful for all 4 games as the experts are predicting as of today.

Sounds like the BrewCrew will be without Ryan Braun, who has been out with a strained oblique. Segura may return (he took a bat to the face, courtesy of Braun).

I'm a little hesitant with LRCW starting the thread but let's give it a whirl.

Thursday May 1st: 7:10 Marco Estrada v. Homer Bailey

Reds have a .170 vs. Estrada at GABP. Estrada sports a 2.52 ERA at GABP (7 ER in 25 innings).

Friday, May 2nd: 7:10 p.m. Wily Peralta v. Mike Leake

Peralta has 4 straight QS

Saturday, May 3rd @ 7:10 p.m. Yovani Gallardo v. Johnny Cueto

Gallardo has made more starts at GABP than anywhere outside of Milwaukee (12 starts). Cueto has given up only 1 earned run over his last 30 innings, and that was a 9th inning HR to McCutchen.

Sunday May 4th @ 4:10 p.m.

Kyle Lohse v. Alfredo Simon, aka Linguini Garfunkel

Lohse has 2.89 ERA in 15 career starts vs. Cincy.

Donating the first one with 105 on the bump.

Need to go 78-57 the rest of the way, you tell me.

Tell you what?

Unless you think the Brewers are going to win 95 games then yes.

You think they will need 95?

Homer is 3-7 in 16 starts against Milwaukee in his career with a 5.36 ERA & 1.42 WHIP.

I put my it's not early anymore bar at 32 games. That may change depending on this weekend.

Exactly, Brewers win tonight and Sunday. Reds win Fri. Sat. stay 7.5 back, UGH!!!! Thank GOD the Reds signed Homer to that 100,000,000 contract for 6 years, You do realize Homer will be considered this teams #1 after next year, just because. Cueto and Latos will both be gone, thanks JERKerty.
