The 2015 10th Region Touchstone Energy All "A" Tournament Brackets were drawn yesterday in a meeting of the Athletic Directors.

The tournament will remain in a single site format with both the boys and girls tournament running currently at Robertson County High School.

Upper Bracket Play-in game - 8pm - Nicholas Co vs Bishop Brossart

 

1-10-15:

Upper Bracket Opening Round - 12Noon - Calvary vs Robertson Co

Lower Bracket Opening Round - 4:00pm - Bracken Co vs Paris

Lower BRacket Opening Round - 8:00pm - St. Patrick vs Augusta

 

1-12-15:

Upper Bracket Opening Round - 8:00pm - Silver Grove vs Nicholas/Brossart Wnr

 

1-14-15 - Upper Bracket Semi-Finals - 8:00pm

 

1-15-15 - Lower Bracket Semi-Finals - 8:00pm

 

1-17-15 - Championship Game

That would be my thought, with Robertson Co and Bracken Co as the second choice on their respective sides.

Wouldn't count Silver Grove out as the second choice of the upper bracket, they return four starters from a 17 win season.

They lose Lambert. I watched them several times. Looked like he not only did a lot for them with the ball to the tune of about 15 a game, but stability wise too. Heady player on a team of short fused kids. Talented team though.

 

What's the odds Paris can win it? I've heard their pure talent is up there.

I would think that Paris has got to be favored. Our success (Brossart) in the event makes us a contender, BUT returning only one starter and losing six quality seniors on what will be a junior dominated ballclub certainly makes us vulnerable.

 

I will guarantee you that here on April 22nd Mike Code has his attentions focused on Nicholas County who return two of their top three players.

I would have Paris as the favorite. I think they have the talent to beat just about any team in the region regardless of size. It will be interesting to see how much they improve from last year.

Augusta lost Bach, but they return 3 starters Snapp, Maddox, and Crawford. I think they all have started since they were freshman. Nobody giving them a chance?

I know Code is a good Coach, but Brossart loses Everybody. I don't know how their JV did last year, but don't think they or their freshman team scared anyone like in years past, no disrespect. I'm ranking Paris,Nicholas,Augusta and Bracken County ahead of them until I see how they fare in December. I'm sure they will prove me wrong, but they should be in the pack with a lot of schools instead of standing out like they have for years and years. A lot can happen between now and then though,transfers, kids stepping up,etc. Should be interesting
