Boone had 15 hits and scored 10 runs against a short handed Highlands at the Bird Cage. Knotts lead the Rebels going 5-5 two dbls, a triple and 3 RBI's

Maines had 2 RBI and a dble

Palmer went 3-4 dble and 3 RBI's

Foster went 2-3 with a dbl

Jackson pitched a good game allowing 4 hits and had 7 strikeouts.

For Highlands Graybill went 2-2 2 RBI'S and 2 dbles.

Highlands was without starting pitcher Bailey Spencer out with a quad injury

Between Woodfill Elementary School and Highland Country Club on US 27. There is still lots of work to be done, but sometime in the very near future the girls are going to have a really nice facility. Really none of the teams at Highlands have historically had great facilities to play in, but slowly things are getting a lot better. That statement rings very true for the girls softball team who moved out of Death Valley and an awful home field.

I think that everyone involved with this project has done a great job. I give credit to Rob and his parents for continuing to push this into reality. Great job for the kids and the community. Hope to be able to take in a game there sometime soon.

Knotts had an outstanding game last night. Her 5 hits were bullets. They were not cheap! Heck, we tried to hit her one time and hit the wrong girl!!!! Of course I'm kidding!!!!

She was mostly right handed last night. She may have turned around once or twice. I can't remember. They have a lot of girls that look alike in their helmets!
