With the cold weather and rain how many games has your team missed?

 

Newport Catholic is up to 7 with today's rain-out, this includes at least 4 that would have been played in the Pete Noll tourney. :banghead:

None yet. Our supremely gifted head coach scheduled us a 2 week break right now!!

I think Collins has missed 2 games and played 12. They are off all this week for spring break.

Madisonville North has missed 3 but couldn't be at a better time. Give time for some girls to get healthy. Heather pitches tomorrow to see if she can start throwing again without pain. She hasnt pitched a game yet this season. Our CF/Leaderoff hitter was off for 2 weeks as well, we travel tomorrow to play in the Bob Jones Tournament.

Make it 8 games for the Breds, as today's game at Harrison Co. is washed out. THIS WEATHER SUCKS!!!!

This just keeps getting better and better, NewCath is now up to 11 games missed with cancellation of the Where's The Beach Tournament at Rockcastle Co.

Yes and no. However, it's actually quite frustrating when you have kids that are in DESPERATE need of playing time to be better prepared. My two daughters actually asked if we could go somewhere to practice today since everything has been washed out since Tuesday.

So I have to ask, why schedule so many games early in the year? We go through this every year.

NCC has 4 open days next week. HHS had 4 but just added a game.

HHS has a minimum of 4 games a week. 6 games one week.

NCC has mostly 4 game weeks.

 

So I'm guessing it's not so much a question about why so many so early. Looks like it's more about getting as many in a possible before districts.

 

My question is... Why no Saturday games?

Both schools have a few, but are tournaments or a 3-4 team multi-game rotation "thing".

*Except HHS does have one Sat game against Ryle.

Don't tell RCC9, but NewCath plays in the All "A" Regional next week, we know how much he likes the All "A". :lol: IMVHO, we should be playing in the Finals at NKU next Friday so that would give us 4 games next week. The following week we have one open date, Monday April 14th. However, like all catholic schools we are not permitted to play on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, or Holy Saturday.

 

I'm all for double-headers on Saturday's. :thumb:

Estill so far has missed the Boyle County game from Today. The Model game on March 25th was rescheduled for April 1st. Both Bryan Station games in the Montgomery County tourney and on May 13 @ Station both have been canceled. Estill has a total of 35 games right now. They do have a big game from May 8-14 not sure if they'll try and schedule someone in at that point or not.

 

Doesn't look like any of them will get rescheduled. At least not Boyle County, both teams schedules are completely full.
