March 29, 201412 yr Why in the world would they keep Ware "on the team" if he was suspended and they knew he wasn't going to play again? Was he on the bench every game with the team? Honestly I don't know. But there are too many coincidences for me to believe him transferring just to be closer to home.

March 29, 201412 yr Author Was he on the bench every game? Behanan was dismissed two weeks after Ware red shirted. I didn't pay attention to the bench every game, so I can't say what games he was there for and what games he wasn't.
March 29, 201412 yr But there are too many coincidences for me to believe him transferring just to be closer to home. Agreed. Not a lot different from the Ryan Harrow situation IMO. None of us were surprised when he "transferred" & none of us should be surprised at Ware either.

I'm not at all surprised that he transferred. I don't at all think he would announce a transfer now if it had anything to do with Behanan. Why wait until now?
March 29, 201412 yr Behanan was dismissed two weeks after Ware red shirted. I didn't pay attention to the bench every game, so I can't say what games he was there for and what games he wasn't. I thought Behannan was suspended right after the UK game which is when it was announced Ware was being redshirted. I even think it was in the same press conference.
March 29, 201412 yr I'm not at all surprised that he transferred. I don't at all think he would announce a transfer now if it had anything to do with Behanan. Why wait until now? I'm not saying it had anything to do with Behanan, but Ware's situation is different than Chane's because of his injury. Better to transfer than be kicked out. Again, I'm not saying that's what happened, but it would be reason to wait IMO. I was speaking more of this probably not being a case of Ware wanting out as much as it is others wanting him out. I think in that respect, it's eerily similar to Ryan Harrow.
March 29, 201412 yr Apparently Bruce Pearl recruited Ware when he was still at UT. Auburn might be a possibility. Sounds like Auburn is a strong possibility. I'm pretty sure Ware originally committed to UT. Didn't he?
March 29, 201412 yr I'm pretty sure Ware originally committed to UT. Didn't he? Yep. Was he one of the infamous Bruce Pearl barbecue party guests? I remember it was Craft and I think Ware. :idunno:

Ware because he is a liability off the court
March 29, 201412 yr Was he on the bench every game with the team? Honestly I don't know. But there are too many coincidences for me to believe him transferring just to be closer to home. As the season went on, he was not on the bench. The article from the other day I mentioned indicated this. It kind of read like one of those "something's about to happen with this" stories.
March 29, 201412 yr Yep. Was he one of the infamous Bruce Pearl barbecue party guests? I remember it was Craft and I think Ware. :idunno: That's possible. I know Craft for sure, but not certain on Ware. I think UK pursued Ware too, didn't they?
March 29, 201412 yr Except Harrow is a great kid. Ware seems like a knucklehead. Harrow was "forced" out cause he couldn't handle UK. Ware because he is a liability off the court Ware certainly had problems with rules. Still, I think UK pushed Harrow out the door & I believe UL is doing the same.
