I believe that 11 point deficit was Bowling Green's largest of the postseason.

When was the last time 2 teams that didn't win their district play for the state title?

I'm guessing there's a chance that has never happened. Before Christian County it had been a loooong while since a team had won as a runner-up.

J. Ayers picks up 2 fouls in 10 seconds.

Tons of people cheering on the Colonels. They must not have gotten the memo on 9th Region bias.

The 4th and WKY schools in general get even less. Not close enough.

Nick Ruthsatz 2-2 FT's. He has 10.

26-13.

7:09 left in the 1st half.

Ruthsatz with a beautiful assist to CVH in transition.

34-15.

Timeout BG.

4:51.

For the second time tonight noone from BG picks up Ruthsatz in transition and he makes an easy pass to CVH for a layup. Shameful.

This is gonna be painful to watch.

Maybe. I'll grant you at the moment it looks like the end might not be pretty but it's like coach Sherrill has been saying - BG was never even expected to be there. In more than one way. Warren Central was supposed to dominate. Knott County Central was supposed to take the 14th to the semis. Heck Wayne County was supposed to be in the way. This is at the very least tied for the greatest season in BG basketball history.
