Hoptown won the only regular season matchup by 12 at Henderson County. The Tigers have yet to lose to a Kentucky team. Do they keep rolling or can the Colonels pull off the upset?

I saw Henderson a couple of times this year & love David Simmons, but I don't see them stopping Hopkinsville.

Tigers by 10.

In that first meeting, Hopkinsville didnt pull out that 12 point lead until the fourth quarter. It was a close game thru 3.

I vaguely remember that. Were both teams at full strength?

It sounds like that has been a common occurrence for Hoptown this season.

Hoptown seems to have excellent 1st and 4th quarters. Unfortunately that seems to lead to some sloppy play in the 2nd and 3rd. They can get away with playing that way in regionals, and maybe even the final against Henderson, but they cannot play that way at state and win.

Matlock has been playing excellent ball. He dominated the game in the paint yesterday. If Matlock, Poindexter, and Edwards are all clicking for 4 quarters, I don't think anyone will stop them. Not even Ballard. BUT there are only a few games this year where that has happened.

Hoptown by 12 again.

No question here,,,it will be Hoptown by 17

Sad situation. Likely should have been the 4th matchup between UHA and hoptown. Either way, District 8 continues it's absolute dominance of region 2 and wins the 13th consecutive region title tonight. They probably blast Henderson.

My game plan would be use Hopkinsville's slashing talent to take the ball straight to Simmons from the get go and hope to get him on the bench with 2 and force cooper off the block and pretty much dare him to face my players up because that seems to be his weakness. Seems that teams runs and feeds off Simmon's game! Henderson doesn't look to have the size to match up with Hopkinsville in the paint. I think Hopkinsville will win but Henderson will not just give this one away!

Madisonville North Hopkins holds 2500 people, i plan for it to be 2,000 plus there tonight! Hopkinsville and Henderson have been rivals in region 2 for a while now so it will be an environment that will be crazy intense and loud as both fan bases are large and passionate about their basketball and their team! If u live in west ky i really suggest anyone who wants to see a game make it to this one! Ball is thrown at 7!

Oops; correction. Maroon gym hold 3,800.

Might have been 3,300 at any one time for the semi-finals last night.
