Matt Wilson leads Campbell County with 16. Dre Jackson with 15 and Corey Holbrook 11.

Austin Crawford with 15 points and 9 rebounds to lead Bracken.

That closes the carrers of Ryan May Steven Cummins Nate Haight and Scott Fite. Not a good way to end your season or career but Campbell is a very good team. First time I have seen them live. Wouldn't be surprised if they were playing Tuesday night.

4 fine young men. They will be missed

A mismatch from the opening tip. CC's Jackson had a perfect shooting night and scored 15 points in 16 minutes.

Stat of the night:

Camels 17 assists and 10 turnovers.

Polar Bears 1 assist and 17 turnovers.

Always good to run into several of my friends from Bracken County.:thumb:

Indeed it was! I know these are dirty words on here to some. But classification of high school basketball would eliminate a lot of this. I saw on a thread on here where it was classified many years ago and it seemed to work. And the two class winners played for an overall title. If the small school is that good then the final would be competitive.

I know a lot of people don't like the idea. But I will always be a supporter of it. I believe it would create more level playing fields and better high profile tournament games. Just my opinion please don't beat up on me too bad :D

This will be painless,,,has it helped your football program,,again not being smart,,but you guys have trouble the other small schools in the area. Yes it is harder for the small schools to compete, but it is enjoyable when you hit that 3/4 year good run,,ask Augusta,Pendleton Co., or Elloitt County..

I'm with you on this, except that Pendleton County is about twice the size of Bracken County.

I have to echo what pb98 said about the seniors. May & Cummins played their final games tonight. I always loved the effort those two kids gave.

Our football program is still in its early stages in comparison to other programs around here. I'm not sure if football will ever be a successful sport in bracken. I will support them every season but I'm not sure how well it will ever be. Pendleton is not a small school enrollment wise.

The 3/4 yrs run is nice and I'm sure the Augusta's of the state would say their lovin it. But if those 3/4 yr runs are don't happen but every 10-15 yrs. seems like you take one step forward and three back.

Like I said I know some on here don't like the idea. That's fine. If I followed a big school I would probally feel the same way. I respect everyone opinion on here even though I may not agree. There nothing anyone can say to me to think that classification would be a bad thing.

All it would take is two classes like it was in the olden days. It worked then so it could work now. :thumb:
