You must of watched a different game than I did. HC was very patient on offense and looked to get the ball inside and when it wasn't there they swung it around for a three. With 2min left ND was still in a zone so why not bring them out of it. I would call it good coaching on HC part and not sure what ND was thinking..

Don't disagree, just helping explain why the score was so low. Several points in the game the ball was just held while players stood still. That's all. It is a thing with me.

Holy Cross had maybe 6-7 turnovers. ND did not put any pressure on them which in the first game they were trapping on the wings which caused problems. This leads to HC working for good shots IMO..

 

Nail on the head here. You must pressure them so they can't be comfortable in their sets. Speed them up. They are too good and too big if you don't push the issue.

This could turn out to be one great regional tournament. The first round match ups could be huge. Two winners are going to ND and Highlands. Not sure I would want to play either one of them..

You are correct but they could get newcath in the first round. You are correct. What could happen is Nd could get newcath in the first round and Hc and highlands first round Wow...

Congratulations to Holy Cross on a hard fought win.

Ha ha, obviously you don't do your homework and not taking anything away from the young girls at Holmes, they had a great season. But have you seen Turner play. You obviously don't know and to say better and wants the ball all the time even funnier. Last I check Holmes was in the Regional the previous two years. We will see once the season starts and again obviously you have no idea.

 

Just to reiterate my point about this year's team and the previous 2 you talk about. Yes they made the region. BUT....what does that really mean?

This! Anyone would be a fool to try and figure out who will win this region! Matchups and draw will play a huge role in the outcome. In my opinion, there are 5 teams that have a really good shot.
