District matchup between the two city schools. Who do you like, by how much, and why? What do you think will be the difference in the game?

On a side note, reports are out there that Henry Clay's Jordan Green will be back from a dislocated elbow.

Previous Results:

12/10/13: Henry Clay 78, Bryan Station 55 (@ Henry Clay)

1/14/14: Bryan Station 55, Henry Clay 49 (@ Bryan Station)

This is a tough one, Station is playing better, But I will go with HC by 5, because of Green..

Don't know if Henry Clay will pull it out, but like you, I think Green is back with a vengeance and will put that team on his back if needed. If he decides to go off, I don't know who Station puts on him to slow him down.

Someone more familiar with Henry Clay than me (i.e., seen them more than in bits and pieces and handful of times) how do you think they handle Station's pressure?

If Marcellous Washington catches fire, who checks him? Green? Tisdale?

Offensively speaking, in the past 7-10 games, have the Blue Devils developed someone who can hurt the Defenders on the interior?

Will Henry Clay try to play Station's game and get in a track meet? So far, I haven't really seen much to indicate otherwise, but I know that some of their more recent scores are more in the 50's. Is it fair to say that maybe they've adjusted and that they'll try to run some sets where they take advantage of Green's size by letting one of the Tisdales' get him the ball somewhere between 18-12 ft. range where he can just elevate over his man right there and score or take it into the middle and jump-stop and do the same or just get all the way to the rim if he feels like he needs to.

Is this a risky plan? Too risky?

Taking the ball out of Green's hands could mean that he doesn't touch it on some possessions, but if his teammates handle the pressure and take care of the ball, it could mean he gets his touches so deep that Station can't do anything with him either, especially if it's a scenario where they are still scrambling because their traps have been beaten and everyone is rotating.

I don't see Green succeeding in a role where he's forced to handle through that pressure then create for himself and score (at least not to the extent that he'd be able to carry them like that unless he's just unconscious from the outside). I can see him letting one teammate primarily handle the pressure, some others doing some things to alleviate it and just not messing up, then getting the ball in his spots and scoring.

Agree or disagree? Debate is healthy, so feel free to disagree.

BTW, THIS is the Jordan Green I'm talking about showing up to play tomorrow. This is last year's regional final against eventual state champion Madison Central.

If those highlights are any indication of the guy we see tomorrow, I'm not sure if Station has someone with enough size to slow him once he's rolling.

Actually, the region semi. The only highlight needed is his dunk on PLD in the quarterfinal. Nasty...plain nasty.

I'll take HC because they have the best player on the floor. Should be an interesting night of hoops in Lex!

Two very similar teams.

Neither team has strong post play so this game will be won on shooting and especially, free throw shooting. Both teams shoot poorly from the 3 point line (Henry Clay 31%/Bryan Station 27%) and the free throw line (Henry Clay 60%/Bryan Station 62%).

When in doubt, I'll usually take the home team which is Bryan Station. However, since the game is being played at Henry Clay, I like the Blue Devils to advance to meet Scott County in the district finals.

Low scoring game, in my opinion.
