2012 he was on pace to have one of the best seasons historically for any player. It's a shame he got hurt or I think he would have been MVP

3 seasons?

2010 - Huge numbers. Posted career high and league top 5 numbers in HR (37), RBI (113), BA (.324), OBP (.424), and SLG (.600); Wins MVP.

2011 – Doesn’t have an effective Rolen behind him, also is consistently pitched to like an MVP (i.e. - no fastballs, less pitches). Consequently, BA went down (.309), power numbers went down (lost a full .69 off his slugging percentage). But he’s not an idiot, he walked more, and OBP didn’t take much of a hit even though his BA went down .15 points.

2012 – Trend continued, walking at a juiced-up Bondsian rate, hitting doubles at a record pace, OBP was an INSANE .474, slugging bounced back a bit with all the doubles, Bill James creamed his jeans, but he hurt his knee, missed a lot of the season and his final production numbers were down, HR pace was WAY down.

2013 – OBP is off the charts again, slugging percentage was the worst of his career (.491), highest number of strike outs for his career (138), worst full-season totals in HR (24) & RBI (73) of his career...with Choo always on base in front of him mind-you.

There are a couple rebuttals on the way Colonel. Prepare thyself
