February 5, 201412 yr National signing day has 27 inking with Georgetown College Football - Wed, Feb. 5, 2014 at 1:10 PM National football signing day has Georgetown College gearing up for another exciting season this fall. Tiger coach Bill Cronin has 27 freshmen signed to come build on the tradition of excellence. GC advanced for the 19th time, fourth straight, to the NAIA Football Championship Series this past season. The Tigers lost to eventual semifinalist Carroll College in Helena, Mt. in a game that was decided in the fourth quarter. Georgetown graduates more than 20 off that team and many who have been vital to the two-straight undefeated regular season teams. February 6, 201412 yr Good to see the Highlands guys stay together at the next level. Schweitzer & Harris have played together since they were 6 years old and Wrobleski (cousin to Schweitzer) played several years of pee wee with Tyler & Zach.
February 6, 201412 yr Had a chance to see Sutkamp play this year and he is hard nosed. Very good player. I beleive Coach Cronnin and staff have stacked two very good classes the last two years. I for one am glad to have a seat on the bus as a fan.

February 6, 201412 yr Author Great class, Beal is a beast surprised he isn't a few levels up but it's whatever is comfortable to him. I have watched A LOT of DII, DIII and NAIA football games in the last two years with my son being recruited. I can say one thing, other then the elite D1 programs, the other levels are, for the most part, very similar in level of play. The biggest difference is between DII and the other levels, where player size is the most noticeable difference. With that said, I am glad Beal landed at Georgetown, he will being playing DII when they make the move next year.
